There a Bible Reading linked to the line for each day followed by space for Reflection in Quiet or click on the link for a Reflection with Music (use either or both).  Spend time in prayer quietly or speaking.  Finish by saying the Lord’s Prayer pausing at the line you have thought about today.  Set yourself an Afterwards which can be an action, a promise to yourself or whatever God has laid on your heart.  Clips are Youtube and you may wish to skip any adverts.

You will need 15-20 minutes (longer depends on personal prayer time). Please feel free to forward or share with others if you wish.

 3       Hallowed be thy name;

Something to make you smile:

Monty Python – Bridge of Death (3 minutes)

Sometimes holy places can seem unapproachable.

 Gathering your thoughts for prayer/worship:

Blessed be Your Name by Matt Redman (4½ minutes)

Bible Reading:          Exodus 3:1-6

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

Reflection with quiet:

Light a candle and use it to focus you thinking.

What strikes you about this passage?  What might it say about God, and/or about your relationship with God?

 Reflection with music:

Make Me Holy / CJM MUSIC (3 minutes)

List of who/where/what to pray for today:

Spend time in prayer (speaking or in silence) thanking God first before bringing petition (remembering your five people).

The Lord’s Prayer:

Pray the Lord’s Prayer pausing after ‘hallowed be Thy Name’.

Afterwards: Set yourself an action, a promise to yourself or whatever God has laid on your heart.

With every Blessing
